four chihuahua puppies ingratiated their way into our life.
...it was a rocky start with Charley not really taking to the mothering role too well,
but once we latched the puppies on for their first feed,
that inbuilt instinct to love and protect certainly took over.
a week or so later.
...by this time the two darker pups were developing a soft, fluffy coat compared to the lighter two who were more like their mother with the short, sleek mane!

....not quite two weeks old and they started opening their eyes to a whole new world!
three weeks old and they are getting cuter by the day!
